The Township of King and the KHCC is commemorating Truth & Reconciliation this year by participating in Project of Heart: a nationwide collaborative and interactive initiative to seek the truth about the history of Indigenous peoples in Canada. Between September 26-30, the community is invited to the KHCC to design and create their own Project of Heart tile to contribute to our community collage. During which, you are invited to learn about the ways in which residential schools impacted Indigenous children, families, and communities; and, of the social justice endeavors in motion today to change our present and future history as a community.
